Michael Mueller Smooth, confident modern jazz with just enough discordant moments to keep this listener happy.

The tracks are peppered with knowing nods to the golden age of jazz, without them ever feeling cloying or indulgent.

Roller Trio are purists with a sense of adventure, and their playing is crisp and taut throughout, with flashes of sensitivity and muscularity creating a dynamic sense of flow and an intimate vibrancy.

The songs are great, the melodies memorable. Roller Trio are the real deal. Favorite track: 2 Minutes to 12.

This trio is on a completely different musical stratosphere than most of their contemporaries. Part Sci-Fi Film Score and part Nu Jazz. Difficult to name a favourite track, however if I was forced to choose an all time favourite album this would certainly be up there at the top. I'm in the UK but it was a friend in South Africa that introduced me to Gondwana. Absolutely beautiful album from start to finish, amazing musicians and composition both.
